Sleepover Weekend

A New Kind Of Friday & Saturday Last weekend, I got to spend the night with my very close friend, Haley Sapp. She invited me over on Friday to hang out and spend the day with her on Saturday. I hadn't spent the night over at someone's house in a while and couldn't wait to spend time with her outside of class. Goodbyes After school ended Friday afternoon, we left Spanish and headed towards my mom's classroom to pick up my overnight bag. I said my goodbyes to my mom and we went on our way to Haley's car. We got in, buckled up, and went to pick up her 10 year old brother, Dylan, from after-school. After that, we then drove to her house, while listening to music and talking. Doggies! Once at her house, I dropped off my stuff and we drank some sodas. Dylan showed me his book collection and even wanted me to read one of his favorite books. Then, Haley let her dogs into the house. Winter Break!!!

A Different Sort Of Christmas  My winter break this year was a bit different from how it usually goes. This year, my family decided we would travel for Christmas, instead of remain at home like we normally do. This break we would not stay in Georgia, but travel to my family back in my birth state. New York! Normally, we travel to New York City every summer, but this year, we skipped our trip and traded our hot visit for a cold one. At first, I wasn't really into the idea of leaving our home and Christmas traditions back in Georgia, but then, I started thinking of all the fun we would have. I hadn't spent a Christmas in NYC since I was five years old after all! We started planning our trip and the things we would do and, eventually, left for NYC. On the Road  We spent a whole day driving the long trek to NYC and ended up stopping for the night in Virginia.
