Finally A Driver!
(Finally) Time To Take That Big Step On my 15th birthday, my mom and I left school early so I could get my Learners Permit that very day. After my 17th birthday, I had to renew my Learners Permit, for it had expired. That's right, 2 years later and I still wasn't an independent driver. Yes, I would drive us home from school and out on weekends, but I was just never really into driving. I knew it was a big responsibility that I didn't want to take on just yet. However, less than a month before my 18th birthday, I decided it was time to take that big step, and took the road test. August 30, 2019: The Road Test On August 30th, we left school and went down to the DMV. We filled out the paperwork, waited outside for our appointment, and watched as the kid before me took his test.
